New Greenhouse User Process
1) New users are introduced to the greenhouse manager, Tami Leathers, via designated lab representative.
2) For new greenhouse space and projects, submit greenhouse space request and project detail form.
3) Read and agree to greenhouse use policy.
4) Sign-up for mandatory pesticide notifications.
5) Attend greenhouse safety training w/ Rosie Gluck and retain documentation for lab safety records. Registration for Safety training sessions can be found here
6) Attend greenhouse orientation session w/ greenhouse manager to learn basics of greenhouse horticulture & facility at Orchard Park Greenhouse Facility. Contact the greenhouse manager to attend orientation.
7) Once safety training and orientation are complete, email Tami to request greenhouse key.
8) Communicate and check on projects frequently! The success of your research project relies on you. The more you check on your project and communicate with GH staff, the better results you will reap!
